December Primark Haul

Hi Darlings!
Tis the season to be JOLLY! Damn I sure am feeling festive at the moment, I am not usually this excited for Christmas but this year I am more excited than ever before. I have my decorations up with lots of sparkle and brightness ready for the big day and also to bring in the New Year. I love Primark all year round but I wanted to go for some home products and to see what xmas products they have.

During the week on my partners day off we decided to go Christmas shopping while the kids were at school. We managed to get a few bits and decided to visit Primark since it wasn't that busy compared to usual when its very busy and the queues are massive. There are lots of new clothes and homeware that looked amazing that I kinda wish I bought more but we were peckish for our lunch at that time so we kinda rushed our way round the shop and paid for what we found in the time we were in there.

Next time we go we are defiantly thinking of getting the grinch pyjamas and duvet cover for our bed because it looks fab and sometimes my partner likes acting like the grinch as he isn't the biggest fan of Christmas as he thinks its too commercial! I also want to spend more time in the home isle as I am trying to redecorate my flat to perk it up.

I just love the pyjamas and lingerie at primark and I think out of all the clothing I have I would 100% say most of it is either pyjamas or lingerie LOL, terrible I know! I defiantly know the reason why that is; its because I just love how conferable pyjamas are and I love how sexy I feel when I wear nice lingerie and for me the good thing about shopping here is that they are affordable.  I have noticed that the amount of retro/sexy lingerie has increased so much this year at primark, I just wish they made larger sizes especially for bigger boobs because mine are always trying to escape.

As for homeware I just love the bedding at primark and the cushions; I got a big pink cushion called blush which has a gorgeous copper design on it. I also got my a copper basket to store mine and my partners collection of perfumes in because the perfumes I have are usually over my dressing table, this keeps them much more organised.

I will be taking photos of the pyjamas another day and I will be posting about them in the very near future so keep a look out for that because they are so stylish and look gorgeous.

Yankee Candle Black Coconut | Review

Hi Darlings!
I just love candles and even more so when it comes to Yankee Candles. I started to love Yankee Candles about 4 years ago now when I ordered a large french lavender candle which smelt divine and ever since then I have lost count of how many I have used. I usually buy my candles online or in shops for discount prices or look in TK Maxx. I was very lucky to find this one in TK Maxx for £14.99 because its been on my candle wish-list for absolutely ages.

Yankee Candle is an American company which was founded in 1969 and since then they have gone from strength to strength to the company we all know and love today.

Yankee Candle Black Coconut
Prices from £1.79 - £23.99

First Impressions
I just love the large jars because they last such a long time (usually 110-150 hours) They also have lovely designs on them and this one is no different. It has a beautiful tropical scene with palm trees and gorgeous sunset; damn I need a holiday its been far too long since my last holiday abroad .

As soon as I opened the candle I could smell the rich coconut scent with cedar wood and island blossom. The combination of them is just divine and very refreshing.

My Thoughts
After being lit for 20 minutes I could smell coconut in most of my flat. It has a beautiful tropical scent that is so fresh it makes me want to go on holiday abroad in the very near future (damn I need to save up LOL). I have used this candle for over 4 months now and have used it at least 3 times a week and its just under half left which is just amazing especially when I only got it for £14.99; I just love it when I get a bargain.

Its from the Fresh scents family and OMG it sure does have a lovely fresh scent to it and to be honest I love to combine it with spicy smells such as cinnamon as they work so well together.

Even though I don't usually buy Yankee Candles more than once because I like trying new scents, I am defiantly considering getting this again because its just that lush.

November Favourites

Hi Darlings!
November was a super quick month for us and I honestly can't believe its December already and its almost 2018! Where on earth has the time gone?

Last month I had a fair amount of beauty favourites and I have put them altogether in this post to tell you on why I loved them. I thought this kinda post would be different because it has been so many months since I last did a beauty favourites post, it was about time I wrote one don't you think?
november favourites
Collection Primer & Ready Illuminating Setting Powder (RRP £3.99)
This setting powder contains silk which gives the skin a naturally radiant finish and helps to keep makeup in place all day. I love how much of a glow that this setting powder gives, it sets my foundation beautifully and gives my skin a beautiful radiant glow.

Urban Decay Beached Bronzer in Sunkissed (RRP £22)
This is the first bronzer I have ever tried and I just love it. I used this to contour my face and my goodness it does a wonderful job at it. The bronzer is super soft and gives a lovely natural matte finish  which I just adore. The compact has a beautiful tropical design and it is a generous size and comes with a mirror

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (RRP £19)
I was so lucky to win this in a competition a few months back because I have been wanting to try this for ages now. The mascara wand is a hourglass shape which makes it so much easy to apply the collagen rich product to the lashes. The wand helps separate the lashes individually and also curl them too. Defiantly my favourite mascara I have tried to date.

Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette (RRP £39.50)
I was extremely lucky to get this for my 27th birthday because I have wanted to try urban decay palettes for ages. I just love these shades at the moment because they are very warming and match my winter wardrobe and my red lipsticks. I just love how easy they are to blend and the fact it has a very useful double-ended makeup brush.

3INA The Highlighter 201 (RRP£10.95)
As Marilyn Monroe once said "diamonds are a girls best friend' this rings true for me because my goodness this highlighter has a shine that makes my cheeks sparkle and glow like diamonds, honestly this is up their with the best highlighters out there. I love to use this on my cheeks, cupids bow and the tip of my nose.

Kat Von D Lock-It Hydrating Primer (RRP £24)
Primers are something that I only started using at the start of the year and ever since then I never wear a foundation without one. Primers are amazing at smoothing the skin ready for a foundation and keeping foundation on the skin longer. This primer is water based and smells amazing, reduces pores and soothes the skin perfectly ready for my foundation.

Kat Von D Lock-It Liquid Foundation (RRP £27)
When it comes to foundation I prefer a more full coverage because I love the way it looks. I use 2 pumps of this foundation to cover my face and it blends perfectly onto my skin with my real techniques makeup sponge combined with the primer above. For a more full coverage foundation its long lasting and doesn't crack after a long day.

Lush Secret Arts Jelly Bomb | Review

Hi Darlings!
It sure does feel like winter now doesn't it? I love baths so much more during the winter as they are a great way to warm up especially when I take a bath with my partner. Lush brought out a new range of bath bombs a few months ago and they are called jelly bombs and they come in 6 different varieties including this one called which is called 'Secret Arts'

Lush as we all know is a mostly bath product originated store and they have lots of cruelty free products too choose from. All the products in Lush are vegetarian friendly and many of them are also vegan too.

First Impressions
I got this for my birthday off my partners brother as he knows how much I love Lush and he knows Ive not tried the jelly range so getting this was a lovely surprise. I just love the design of this jelly bomb as it has Harry Potter vibes - don't you think?

I have always been tempted to try Hex-Bomb bath bombs because they have gothic vibes too them but I think that Secret Arts defiantly has witchy gothic vibes too it.

As soon as I opened the box with Secret Arts in it I was taken by how lovely the scent was. It had a beautiful spicy/citrus scent.
lush secret arts review
My Thoughts
When I put this into my bath it was so much different to all of the other Lush products I have tried before. Usually Lush bath products melt or fizzled as soon as they hit the water but this was more like a slight fizz and once it started to melt bits of jelly went on-top of the water.

After a few minutes in the water it revealed a pink centre that fizzed into the water much faster than the outer shell of the jelly bomb. It didn't melt completely until me and my partner picked it up and broke it into pieces in the bath.

The scent wasn't as strong as I was expecting and to be honest that was very disappointing as I was looking forward to smelling the fragrances altogether.

After I took the plug out of the bath it did stain the bath quite a bit and it took a fair bit of scrubbing to finally get it off my bath and not only that the jelly actually blocked my plug until I  poured hot water on it.

  • lots of sparkle

Bakerdays Letterbox Cake Review + Giveaway

bakerdays cake review
 Hi Darlings!
I hope you are all well!? I am partial to a piece of cake so when Bakerdays sent me a letterbox cake I just couldn't wait to try it. Bakerdays is a UK based company based in Nottinghamshire and the make a variety of different personalised cakes and cupcakes. I just love the fact you can simply upload a photo and have it put on a cake and you can also put a name on them too which I think is brilliant and just adds that edge. The cakes and cupcakes come in a variety of different sizes and flavours too.

While writing a blog post my postman knocked on my door and passed me this and another PR parcel and looking at the box I am sure it would of fit through the letterbox but I am kinda relived I was in. Looking at the box I thought they can be no way be a cake in here but to my surprise and delight there was a nicely presented box with a nice little cake inside, exactly the one I ordered on the website as you can see in the pictures.

The cake was just beautiful and looked so much better in person than it did online! All of the colours are vibrant and the picture of me and my partner looks lovely too. Its hard to believe a photo can be edible but it sure is. It smells lovely and the cakes itself is so delicious too, I think its just fab that you order a cake with whatever cake design/picture you want and choose a flavour you would like and you get a lovely soft sponge with a delicious cake.

If you are in a rush like me most of the time, there is an option on the site that if you order before 2pm you can get it by the next day! How amazing is that? They also have lots of other delivery options which is great if you work or like to know when your delivery is coming.
