Lush Metamorphosis | Review

Hi Lovelies, I hope you are all well?
For me bath times are more of a hobby rather than to get clean because me and my partner just love lush baths and I have explained why in a recent post. I have tried many different bath products over the years and I think it is the novelty of it that makes me buy them and the reason I say that is because I love watching them create different effects, colours and smells in my bath.

I recently got myself a mini haul of bath products I haven't tried before and they are 'Yellow Submarine' and the one this post is about it 'Metamorphosis' and they are both quirky and nice to look at bath bombs so lets see how they got on shall we?

lush metamorphosis bath bomb
This is a very unique looking bath bomb and it totally reminds me of the death star wars, anyone else thing it does? I had some very big expectations of Metamorphosis because it looks very different from the usual bath products from lush and it had a lovely scent too, so as you can guess I was super duper excited to give this a whirl.

Key Ingredients
Black Pepper Oil
Cinnamon Leaf Oil
Myrrh Resinoid

lush metamorphosis bath bomb
I was very keen to fill my bath up with warm water because I was so excited to finally put this in my bath because I was hoping it would be super colourful inside giving a lovely display but sadly for me personally it was a bit of a let down, if you click on my youtube video below you will understand why because to be honest it doesn't look nice at all and not only that it makes such a big mess of the bath after you finished with it too and its not exactly the easiest to clean off either unfortunately.

I was excited to try it but wow it surprised me at how disappointing it was for me and my partner, it wasn't as fragrant as we were expecting and the display wasn't what we were expecting either so this has to be our most disappointing product we have tried so far. I don't like being negative at all but you know I like to be honest with you all because thats me I like to be honest and I would rather know if someone felt the same way about a product that wasn't up to scratch.

Even though this looked amazing, I can't deny that, I can't see myself buying this again especially as it cost an eye watering £4.25. I am looking forward to trying more lush products in the future though.

Lush or Leave?
sadly it has to be leave

Lush Over and Over Bath Bomb | Review

Hi Lovelies
Me and my partner literally just missed buying products from the Easter collection by a few days ( argh big regret) but we decided to go to lush anyway's because we love to share a bath as part of our things we do as a couple. When we got to lush we actually both realised that we have actually tried most of the bath bombs/melts apart from a small number of products and Over and Over bath bombs was one of the products we actually haven't tried before.

Over and Over cost me £4.25 and it is a combination of the average lush bath bomb and also the other half being like the lush bath melts. They are similar bath bombs to this one which is a combination product too and that is called Roller. Anyway's going back to Over and Over, it's a beautiful bath product which is a bright orange and yellow shade, from the first smell of this product it had a smell like nature which kinda reminded me of the forest breeze.
lush over and over bath bomb
First Impressions
As soon as my partner seen it in Lush he thought it looked like a Pokemon ball which made me laugh so much but to be honest he is right in a way it does look like one in a certain way. I like its in 2 sections as one side is covered the bath melt and the other side is the usual lush bath bomb design we all come to love.

Fragrance
As I said above it has a very natural nature smell and I looked on the lush website and the for key ingredients are as follows; Fair trade organic cocoa butter, Lime oil, Fennel oil and Orris oil. So you can see by the ingredients they are very earthy.
lush over and over
Ingredients
vegan
sodium bicarbonate, Citric acid, fair trade organic cocoa butter, perfume, lime oil, fennel oil, cypress oil, orris oil, cream of tartar, sodium laureth sulfate, lauryl betaine, PEG-6 caprylic / capric glycerides & PEG-60 almond glycerides, butylphenyl methylpropional, citral, limonene, linalool, tangerine lustre colour 45410, colour 47005.

Over and Over in the Bath
As with any bath product I tend to put them in running water ( usually makes products look so much better, especially if they are very colourful or have glitter). As soon  as this hit the water it started to froth all over the bath, honestly people it was moving round the bath like it had a mind of its own! It was frothing just yellow with little bits of orange oil for a while ( gotta admit I was disappointed for a moment) UNTIL the centre appeared which was a gorgeous bright pit and both of the colours started to fit round the bath and honestly it was a lovely surprise. I took a photo of it below and it did look better than this but we both couldn't wait to get in the bath.

The scent was just HEAVEN, one the over and over hit the water you could smell the fennel and lime mostly and they were just the perfect combination you could think of. Once we both got into the bath the whole bath eventually went into a bright orange shade and the aromas of over and over were very relaxing, we were both pleasantly surprised by the power and effect of this bath product; we both didn't want to get out of the bath because it was very relaxing and also very moisturising too.
lush over and over bath bomb
My Thoughts
As you can tell by what I wrote above you can see me and my partner just loved this bath product and kinda wish it was an all year round product. Its quite different to other lush products I have tried with a very unique but very nice scent.

Lush Lovestruck Bubble Bar | Review

lush lovestruck bubble bar review
Hi Lovlies
How adorable is this Lush Bubble bar from Lush? This bubble bar is called Lovestruck and is from my Valentine's Day Haul and I have only just got round to using this because I didn't want to use it because you know, its just too cute! I only used it because my partner said we should try this one before we buy anymore Lush products so yes that won.. MORE LUSH always wins for me haha.

Lovestuck is bubble bar and it cost me £4.25 which is a bit whoa for a bubble bar but it could possible be used more than once if you like to mix different bubble bars up for a lush bath. I decided to use this whole since I was sharing bath with my partner at the time. It is in the shape of an Emoji and the this is one with hearts for eyes, I tend to use this emoji for food or makeup ahah.
lush lovestruck bubble bar
First Impressions
What's not to love about this bubble bar? Lovestruck is beautifully bright with a lovely smiley and bright heart shaped eyes. If you like using emojis than this is perfect for you because it looks so cheeky to me. Its also a decent size for using more than once and also as I said above for mixing different bath products, I have still to do that but I need to in the future.

Fragrance
For me the first scent I could smell was citrus and I wasn't sure of the rest until I looked on the Lush website for confirmation, so Il write them down here. Sicilian Lemon Oil, Geranium Oil and Petitgrain Oil.
lush lovestruck bubble bar in bath
Ingredients
Cruelty free & Vegan
Sodium Bicarbonate, Cream of Tartar, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lauryl Betaine, Perfume, Conflour , Sicilian Lemon Oil, Geranium Oil, Petitgrain Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Limonene, Linalool, Citral, Cintronellol, Farnesol, Colour 14700, Colour 45410, Colour 17200 and Colour 47005.

 My Thoughts
I just LOVE bubble bars because I enjoy crumbling them under warm running water, you see all the lovely colours and bubbles are much more intense this way. As soon as I put Lovestruck under the tap and crumbled it delicately in my hands it felt soft and easy to squash, as soon as it hit the water the bubbles actually came before the yellow. They smiley mouth and heart shaped eyes were the first too go and the combination of them both made the whole bath orange to start with. Once the whole bubble bar melted it turned my bath bright yellow exactly like an EMOJI LOL.

This was a lovely bubble bar and the fragrance was pleasant enough, me and my partner stayed in the bath for ages because the smell was lovely citrusy scent. We talked for ages about so many things and I think this was a factor for us. It was also moisturising and felt soft on the skin.

Lush Ladybird Bubble Bar | Review

lush ladybird bubble bar
Hi Lovelies
With Mother's Day just around the corner Lush always has something themed for every special occasion as it does for every major holiday in the UK. I love seeing all the spring inspired products in Lush because for me they look so much more brighter and they match the season too. I recently bought this in my latest Valentine's Day haul post.

I think the main reason I bought this was because it looks so quirky and cute! I love ladybirds too as they are a gardeners best friend ( they keep green fly at bay). Lush have other things in the mothers day range that I want to try too such as the honey lip scrub and the yummy mummy shower gel.
lush ladybird bubble bar review
First Impressions
I love it to be honest, it is a good size and by the looks of this I think it could be used more than once if you wanted too. I used the whole thing because I wanted to treat myself at the particular time I used this.

I also think it matches spring perfectly because all the flowers are coming back such as daffodils and crocus plus the days are getting so  much longer now too.

Fragrance
This has the combination of  minty Peppermint oil and floral Geranium Oil which for me gives this a very nice refreshing and almost earthy scent.
lush ladybird bubble bar review

Final Thoughts
Even though this could be used more than more than once I decided to use all of 'Ladybird' at once because I wanted to treat myself. The best way to use any bubble bars is to run them under warm water and to crush the bubble bar into smaller pieces, it helps to make bigger more fluffy bubbles. It was pretty easy to squash this bubble bar and it melted into the water to make it a crimson red and lots of soft bubbles too.

The scent of the minty and floral actually complimented each other perfectly making the aura of the bath smell very nice. The water itself felt silky and me and my partner defiantly think it helped to moisturise our skin.

Lush Unicorn Horn | Review

lush unicorn horn review
Unicorns are real?
...Well in bubble bar form yes!

Hi Lovelies
Lush honestly sure know how to make me come and buy more products, I have lost count of how many products I have tried over the years but you know I am glad I did try as many as I have because they make bath times more exciting and relaxing and the skincare products are honestly one of my skincare brands everything smells divine and the creams actually work.

Unicorn Horn is not a new bubble bar to the lush scene but one thing is for sure it has changed over the years I remember that two years ago it was a little bit bigger and it also had stars in it too. This year it has a combination of three colours, pink, yellow and mint with lustre finish too it. I actually love how the 2017 unicorn horn looks, it looks more mystical and a bit more magic to it if you know what I mean.

lush unicorn horn bubble bar review
First Impressions
Honestly whats not to love about this lush unicorn horn? I really think it looks gorgeous and brings a little bit of magic once you buy it and give it a try. It may sound a little expensive at £4.25 but I like to savour it and break it in to at least 3 or 4 pieces.

Fragrance
VERY FLORAL and when I say that I mean it, this has a very strong smell of Lavender, Ylang Ylang and Neroli oil. For me it also has a sweet smell to it too and reminds me a lot of candy especially as it has lustre.

lush unicorn horn review
Final Thoughts
I took a little bit off the top of the 'unicorn horn' and I squashed it in my hand to make it almost into powder form, doing this and putting it under running water helps to create lots of bubbles as you can see in the above picture. As soon as the water touches the bubble bar you start to see lots of bubbles in the bath, not only that it creates a cupcake sprinkle effect on top of the bubbles so its like you are having a bath in  a giant cupcake.

I was pleasantly surprised with how much bubbles were created only with a small amount of product. The scent of flowers grew more intense in the water with this bubble bar and it brought a smile to my face because the bath water felt silky and the smell was relaxing.

Lush Cupid Bath Bomb | Review

lush cupid bath bomb review
Valentine's Day is a day which is very much like marmite you either you love or you don't and me for one am not a fan to be honest. I am not saying that I don't love my partner its just we have certain times of the year we like celebrating and for us Valentine's Day is always so busy everywhere or booked and not only that he works a lot too. We have some days dedicated to going out together for events, meals or just movie nights in having a loving cuddle.

hen why the heck did I buy the lush Valentine's Day collection do you ask? Well I'm a sucker when it comes to Lush holiday collections and this collection is so freaking adorable especially with the fact they have a unicorn horn and lots of love heart themed things. I bought a few gorgeous products in my Lush Valentine's Day Haul so it you want to see it give that wee link a click to see what amazing things I bought.

lush valentines day
Now I must apologise for the quality of the photos of cupid in the bath, I had to use my phone camera as my camera needed to be charged. I will be remembering next time as I love showing you all the true beauty of Lush products.

First Impressions
Because valentines is all about love I just had to get this as its shaped like a love heart with cupids bow. I have to admit I just think its just adorable and the smell goes perfect with it too. The heart is pastel pink like candy and the arrow is a lovely hot pink.

The price is a decent price of £2.95 which is fair since it is not as big as a lot of the other bath bombs in Lush.

Fragrance
As I said above the scent is just GORGEOUS! It has a lovely sweet fragrance and the 4 key fragrances in cupid are Persian Lime oil, Bergamot Oil, Violet Leaf absolute and Rose petal powder.
lush cupid valentines day collection
Final Thoughts
After I filled my bath with lovely warm water I dropped this into the bath gently and as soon as I did that this beauty started to slowly fizz and release white and pink in all directions until it started swirling. Usually bath products melt or fizz away quite quickly but this was the opposite this is a slow melter with lots of soft foam bubbles that feel lovely on the hand.

I went in the bath with my partner and we both noticed how beautiful the smell of the violet and other scents went together so nicely, it reminded us both of the retro and still one of my favourite sweets parma violets. Once in the bath this was still melting showing us how gorgeous the swirls of hot pink and white went together, I think it took about 10 minutes to completely melt and even then I helped it a little by squashing it.

After getting out the bath I smelt exactly like this and the smell of violets stayed on my skin until the next day which I just love about lush products. One thing I know and I do is when I have a lush bath I tend to do more skincare things like wear a face mask and put lots of serum on my skin and body moisturiser.

If you like sweet smelling Lush products then yes this worth buying, its also quite nice display if display is one of the reasons you buy lush products.

Available online and instore.

Lush Valentines Day Haul

Lush Valentines day review
Roses are red
Violets are blue
Lush has lots of new valentines products for you..

Love is in the air? Well it very much could be with the Valentine's Day Collection from Lush! Everything looks gorgeous and goes perfectly with the love/cupid theme of valenitnes day. I noticed lots of the products have some sort of love heart on them or look quite sweet such as the unicorn horn and also an adorable lady bug bubble bar. They are new products this year as well as some old favourites too, unicorn horn is back but it looks a lot different from last year.

I am usually onto new Lush products very quickly but I haven't been able to get this till yesterday as I live quite a distance away from central Glasgow. I went to Braehead shopping centre so I could go get some other shopping too so Lush could be a little excursion for us to visit and have a little look and buy of the Valentine's Day collection.

Here my Lush Valentines day Haul.....
lush valentines day haul
What I bought
  • Cupid Bath Bomb (£2.95)  This is shaped like cupids arrow with a  lovely love heart, the two shades of pink look nice together and this kinda smells and looks like a bit of candy. The scent I can smell most is violet, rose and lime oil so its quite a sweet candy scent.
  • Lovestruck Bubble Bar (£4.25) This bubble bar looks like an all loved up emoji, its bright yellow with a bright pink smile and rose red heart eyes. The scent is very citrusy as it has lemon oil and geranium oil the smell for me is very refreshing.
  • Ladybird Bubble Bar (£3.95) This is shaped like an adorable ladybird, its bright red with purple details and little eyes. Its a decent size so I would say it can be used more than once. The smell is utterly divine with peppermint oil and geranium oil.
  • Lover Lamp Bath Bomb (£4.25) This is simple with lovely red love hearts on the sides. The simplicity suits it so well and its got a nice surprise when it melts, it has lots of red hearts inside. The smell is sweet with vanilla and organic cocoa butter.
  • Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar (£4.25) I BELIEVE IN UNICORNS, well at least the bubble bars I do haha! The unicorn horns are so fun and quite quirky too. They have a sprial of pink, yellow and lime green. The scent of this is very floral and has lavender, ylang ylang and neroli oil.
  • The Kiss Lip Scrub (£5.25) I just adore lip scrubs from Lush I always put them on before any lipstick and it helps make the lipstick last longer and also smoothes my lips. This lip scrub is bright pink with lots of red little hearts. The scent of this is mandarin oil and sea salt. It also has soothing organic cocoa butter.

Lush Jester Bubble Bar Review

Lush Jester bubble bar
 Hi Flamingos
I don't usually post so many Lush products in a short period of time but I've wanted to use more and more of lush products lately so sorry if my blog is lost in lush at the moment. I am a person who just enjoys posting about things like this and writing about products when they are fresh in my mind if you know what I mean. I have nearly finished using all the products from my Lush boxing day haul and the  'Jester Bubble Bar' was from my Christmas haul and I have only just got round to trying it out.

Lush have many products and included in my favourite is bath products. I like the bubble bars and the bath bombs equally, they both offer different things such as the bubble bars give silky bubbles and bath bombs usually give amazing displays and have glitter (usually)

lush jester bubble bar review
First Impressions
Honestly I am such a big fan of Lush bubble bars on a stick, they kinda remind me of magic wands especially with the fact you wave them in your bath to create bubbles, it just brings a little bit of the wow factor for me.

Jester is designed exactly like a Jester and is very bright with red, pink and yellow with a little bow with a bell on the wand. I have seen a few bubble bars from Lush and this one is defiantly up their with top bubble bar designs.

Fragrance
Jester is a citrus scented bubble bar which is infused with bergamot, tangerine and Sicilian mandarin oil.

Reusable
This is another reason why I love bubble bars so much, you can usually use them way more than once. I have used mine once already and by the looks of the bubble bar now it has about another 4-5 baths left which I think is brilliant value for money even though it was £6.50 compared to the products you  can only use the once then its gone.

lush jester bubble bar review
Final Thoughts
Ive said it before and Il say it again, why do my favourite Lush products have to be seasonal? HAHA I've actually lost count on how many times I have said that but I do like this bubble bar a lot. It gives out the most beautiful zesty scent from the mandarin, bergamot and tangerine oil. While the scent is just divine so are the bubbles as they  feel silky and you get so many from a small amount of bubble bar. The red, yellow and pink made the bath into a lovely orange colour.

This has to be one of my top lush products I have tried for a while because its soothing on the skin and you can smell it well after you've had a bath. My skin feels refreshed after a bath and it makes putting moisturiser on so much easier.

Lush Boxing Day Haul

lush boxing day sale haul
 Hi Lovelies
Every year for the past few years I have had a routine of going to Lush on Boxing day to find some half price goodies. Last year was really busy and was very hectic that I didn't get a chance to find what I wanted and I was a bit nervous going this year incase it was super busy. Thankfully when I did go at roughly midday it was very quite, I think they were only about 4 other customers in the shop at the time and lots of half price goodies left. As a big Lush fan I filled my basket of products I haven't tried before and also products that I have loved for years.

Lush to me have always had brilliant seasonal products and the Christmas range is hands down the best one off the year ( closely followed by Easter and Halloween.) I know Lush is super busy during its sale because they only have the one day sale online and till the product sells out in the shop, so I feel more thankful I found these when I did.

This is something I haven't tried before but it smells amazing and looks quite nice too with it's little green leaf on top.

I have not tried this one either which I am quite surprised by because it looks fantastic with its combination of yellow and red. It has a nice array of circus scent and banana. It  has a combo of a butter red top and a normal bath bomb on the bottom.

Father Christmas Bath Bomb £3.75 reduced to £1.87
I have seen this a few times over the years but I never actually bought it till now, so I am looking forward to giving this a try. It has a sweet smell and kinda reminds me of snow fairy.

I just love this shower gel and it has been a favourite product of mine for a while now, this is a lovely pink with a blue shimmer and has a nice sweet smell to it.

Lush Snow Fairy Body Conditioner | Review

Lush Snow Fairy Body Conditioner Review
Hi Lovelies
With Christmas just under two weeks away, I can't help but get excited for the big day! I am so looking forward to visiting my mums for the Christmas holidays with the kids, we have missed her loads. I have wanted to do more Christmas themed posts this month but I've been plagued with bad luck this month so hopefully the rest of the month with pan out more smoothly.

Lush has been tempting me for years with all of their themed items but with Christmas items its just that extra bit inviting especially as its one of my favourite holidays of the year. The product range is massive and they seems to be sparkles everywhere and I honestly can't resist buying sparkly things, they are just to good not to get and thats where this lovely 'Snow Fairy Body Conditioner' comes in.... it is so shimmery!
Lush Snow Fairy Body Conditioner Review
Snow Fairy Body Conditioner  - From £7.95
4 Key Ingredients
💜Cherry Infusion
💜Mango Butter
💜Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter
💜Avocado Butter

First Impressions
I just love the little tubs for these, they are in the typical lush tubs that are very easy to open and close. I got the smaller tub because I wanted to try it first to see if I liked it before committing to buying a more expensive product. Even though I absolutely love the design for this, I think it would of been better if it had a similar bottle to the snow fairy shower gel.

Final Impression
This smells exactly like the snow fairy shower gel, I actually prefer this one more because them smells is a bit stronger and lasts longer too. It has a nice blue shimmer to the moisturiser too but its not that noticeable on the skin, it gives a very nice delicate shimmer. I used about a walnut amount for full coverage and I still have lots of the product left and I bought it over a month ago, so its well worth the money in my opinion. I really wish I bought the bigger version, but then again Il probably pick it up in the boxing day Lush sale haha.

Lush Mistletoe | Review

Lush mistletoe review
Hi Lovelies
It is officially December and that can only mean one thing... Christmas!! I love this time of year because no matter where you go you are reminded of Christmas; from the shop display windows, festive songs playing and Christmas trees decorated beautifully. As for Lush they deliver as usual with their products and this year has been my favourite yet with their products. I recently used 'Mistletoe' from my recent Christmas Haul

If you love Christmas and Lush than this time of year in the shop is defiantly for you! They are many themed products with product names matching products too including this one. I am actually so excited for the Lush boxing day sales, I will be getting a large haul fingers crossed.

Lush mistletoe review
Mistletoe Bath Bomb - £4.25
Cruelty Free
Vegan

First Impressions
Even though this isn't the brightest and sparkliest looking thing in the  Christmas Lush collection it still stood out to me because is a lovely pink shade with a lovely light green with a mistletoe design. I just love that lush has such an amazing amount of Christmas products this year, they all look different with so many more designs this year.

As soon as I picked it up I could smell a very strong but beautiful floral scent from it. I am very happy that it has a floral scent because the first thing you think of when you hear mistletoe you think of flowers and also a little bit of romance.

My Thoughts
After putting this into my lovely warm bath it started to melt slowly, the first two colours that showed was a  bright pink and a gorgeous purple colour until they both combined with each other like a match made in heaven to make a gorgeous purple shade. The whole thing crumbled within minutes without any unmelted bits left.

Me and my partner loved the smell of the bath; the scent of this bath was jasmine absolute, ylang ylang oil and vertivet oil. The bath is based on romance; like mistletoe. I can totally agree with that because it was very relaxing for us both in the bath.

It was nice relaxing bath and as soon as I came out the bath I put on snow fairy body conditioner and the combination of both of the smells is gorgeous! I could smell them both even after the next day.

Would I recommend
If you like lush products that give you a nice display in the bath then this is a big yes!! also I would recommend to anyone who like floral scents because this is a lot stronger than any other floral products I have tried in Lush yet.

Lush Shoot for the Stars | Review

lush shoot for the stars bath bomb review
Hi Lovelies
Christmas is my favourite time of the year, I just love the sparkles, decorations and seeing my family. This year Lush has the most beautiful Christmas themed products, I actually treated myself to a few of things in the range in my latest Lush Haul. I really love everything in the range because everything is sparkly and bright and is perfect to help get into the Christmas sprit.

The Lush Christmas range has many things to choose from this year including bath products, soaps, gift sets and lip scrubs. I was also told that all the lush Christmas bath products are vegan, all of Lush products are also cruelty free.  I was spoiled for choice and I had no idea what to get because everything looks wonderful and the whole shops smells gorgeous. Eventually I chose this as part of my haul. I just love it has sparkly gold stars on it.

First impressions
This is the first thing I put in my basket during my lush haul. The reason I put it in first was because it has 3 beautiful sparkly stars and is set on a gorgeous bright blue. I looked the price and was in two minds whether to buy it but you all know me, I couldn't resist because of the sparkles and the lovely stars, its just gorgeous.

Picking it up I could smell it has a rather sweet zesty scent. The scent is refreshing and the sparkles go a little bit on your fingers too.

lush shoot for the stars
My thoughts
I made sure the bath was nice and warm before popping in this beauty, it was a slow and delicate melter and was spinning while doing so. Once it started to melt it started to show sparkly stars in the centre and they must have roughly about 7 stars in the centre. Each star was quite big and they were also slow melters too, they had golden sparkles on the back of each of them. When everything was completely melted the bath was a emerald green with golden sparkles in every inch of the water. The beautiful thing about the golden sparkles was they stuck together and raised to the top and burst like little fireworks on top of the water.

The smell was utterly divine and so zesty, it kinda reminded me of a cocktail. Its one of those scents that help you relax especially after a long day. They key 4 ingredients are as follows; Brazilian Orange Oil, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Bergamot Oil and Coconut Cream.

Me and my partner enjoyed this bath so much, it was just blissful. It was so nice relaxing together watching the sparkles in the emerald water. My partner is usually quite picky with lush products he likes but he just loved this one and so did I. We will defiantly be buying it again because I think it worth the money and looks stunning.

Because 'shoot for the stars' contains  coconut cream and some cocoa butter it was very soothing of the skin, the bath water almost felt silky. My skin felt moisturised even after I came out the bath. My skin felt so soft that I didn't actually bother putting extra moisturiser on.

Lush Christmas Haul

Hi Lovelies
As promised I went to Lush and treated myself to some products from their Christmas Collection. It was only recently that I used up all of the Halloween Haul I got a couple of months ago, so I knew it was about time I got some of the Christmas range. For me autumn and winter is my most favourite time of year at Lush because I just love it when they bring out their themed collections such as Halloween, Christmas and Valentine's day. The designs are themed and I have noticed they are also a bit more sparkly too.

Unsurprisingly as we all know Christmas is the most busiest time of the year in any shop, and lush is no different as they are loads more products in the Christmas collection. They are a variety of products such as many types gift boxes, soaps and bathbombs etc. I could of stayed in the shop all day because they was so much to choose from and I really wanted to get everything haha! I was also told that everything in the Christmas range in vegan, so thats great to know.

I noticed the paper bags are Christmas themed too which I find just so darn adorable! It's a light blue with a star shaped bubble bar on it, its almost like a mini present ( to myself of course haha)

Lush Christmas 2016What I bought

  • Shoot for the stars Bath Bomb - £4.25 This is a bright blue with three gold sparkly stars around it! The stars are honey scented and the blue part is a zesty orange scent, I really can't wait to try this and see what it looks like in the bath.
  • Mistletoe Bath Bomb - £4.25 This is just a gorgeous pink and light green shade, I just love it. It has a delicate floral scent which is ylang ylang.
  • Jester Bubble Bar - £6.50 I just love bubble bars because the can be used more than once. This one is a little jester and its bright red, pink and yellow with a blue ribbon and a bell on. This has a nice zesty smell which is bergamot, tangerine and sicilian mandarin oil.
  • Snow Fairy Body Conditioner - £7.95 100ml Snow fairy  is my all time favourite shower gel and I wait all year round till it  come back in stock because I love the smell of sweet candy floss. I didn't get the shower gel this year but this instead to change things up a little.

Lush Autumn Leaf Review

lush autumn leaf
 Hi Lovelies
With into full swing and my lush Halloween haul getting less and less and that only means it won't be long before I get some things in the Lush Christmas collection( my favourite lush products of all)I decided to use Autumn Leaf to warm me up on one cold evening with my lovely partner.

Autumn Leaf is a very recent bath bomb from Lush and I recently got this with a few other Halloween bath products. I have heard that its a slow melter and has a beautiful display, so I was so excited to see what it looked like in the bath. I kept this for a while because I was relulcant to use it because it looks so lovely displayed in my bathroom lush product see through jar.
Lush Autumn Leaf
First Impressions
When I went to Lush my goal was to just go into the shop and just get the halloween looking products, you know the products that looked spooky but I totally changed my mind when I seen
this because of the way it stood out! Firstly its shaped like a leaf, perfect timing for autumn and secondly it the colours of autumn leaves and thats what made me want to put it in my basket and to take it home to try.

My Thoughts
After putting enough warm water in the bath I placed this gently into the bath and as soon as I put it into the bath it started to fizz slower and started to release the yellow, greens and orange in different directions in the bath. Its true what they say about it being a slow melter, it took this a good 10 minutes for it to fully melt in the bath and by that time me and my partner were in the bath and we both were just admiring how gorgeous the display Autumn Leaf was giving.
Once this finally melted in the bath it went into a dark green colour and honestly.. the smell was very woody and it was just divine, me and my partner just loved the smell. The smell was Neroli oil, Japanese Maple Sap, Bergamot Oil and Sandlewood Oil.

As with most bath products from Lush I was very reluctant to leave the bath because it smelled lovely and also it was a little chilly getting out haha! Anyways I did finally get out after 30 minutes of bliss! I might just get this again because the smell reminds me of long autumn winter walks with leave on the ground. I would recommend this to anyone who likes woody smells and likes bath products which has a lot of show.
