Lush Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar Review

lush sparkly pumpkin review
Hi Lovelies
I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend so far! Here in Glasgow it is a very rainy day and I'm having a quiet day in and will probably be making another youtube video for my channel later on so keep an eye out for that. I am such a forgetful person that I nearly forgot to tell you all about my most recent Lush bath with my partner. This past week I realised that I had still to use my last of my Halloween Lush Haul  'Sparkly Pumpkin bubble bar' so I decided to try it out.

Any doodle on with the post, Lush had some amazing products in their halloween collection and I am going to miss them a lot because I just love all things spooky no matter what time of the year it is. The plus side about me using them all up means that I can actually stock up on the Christmas collection, so expect a haul on that very soon.

First Impressions
I was only going to get 4 Halloween products but I ending up buying this too, the main reason I bought this was because of its eye catching sparkles, I gotta admit I love a bit of sparkle, so as you can guess it went straight in my basket.

I noticed as soon as I picked it up they were a lot of sparkles on my fingers, but I was ok with it because you know as I said above sparkles are cool with me. The scent was also very zesty with a bit of spice. The pumpkins top is a little bit of cinnamon which I just find adorable.

My Thoughts
With any bubble bar from Lush they can usually be broken up and be used more than once, but this time I was a little greedier then I usually am with Lush products and I just used the whole thing at once. I crumbled the whole thing in running warm water in the bath and honestly it felt so dreamy and soft in my hands, it melted away relatively quickly ( approx 2 mins) and it created some epic bubbles. The whole bathroom smelt so zesty and spicy in the process.

Myself and my partner love a hot bath together every now and again and this time was no different, the bath was filled with lovely bright orange and luxurious thick bubbles that actually stayed for ages. The orange in the bath also had the gorgeous golden sparkles in it too. My partner loves sparkles too because he actually looks forward to having a bit of sparkle on his skin after the bath.

We stayed in the bath for what seemed like ages and we wanted to stay in it forever because the smell just captivated us both. The smell was grapefruit oil, cinnamon juniper berry oil  and the combination of these 3 was heavenly. I knew I made a big ass mistake not buying more of these or at least cutting the damn thing in half haha.

It was a very smoothing bath and our skins felt lovely after the bath, we didn't feel the need to go mad with the moisturiser like we usually do. The scent lasted till later in the evening ( we took the bath in the morning)

 Would I recommend?
If you love a lot of sparkles, bubbles and spicy scents then this is something that you would defiantly love! It is a bubble bar so it can be enjoyed more than once and also its more budget friendly if its used like that.

Pros
Smells gorgeous ( Zesty with a bit of spice)
Lots of sparkles
Vegan
Cruelty Free
Can be used more than once

Cons
Not sold anymore ( its in the pumpkin gift set)
lots of sparkles ( I know some people don't like too much sparkle)

Lush Monsters' Ball Review

Lush Monsters' Ball Review
Hi Lovelies
I hope you all had a lovely weekend! I seriously can't believe it Monday again tomorrow 'boo!' Anyways forget about Monday Il tell you all a little bit about what happens on the weekend in my flat. On a weekend I love quiet nights in with a nice movie with popcorn and a nice hot cup of cocoa followed up by a Lush bath and thats exactly what I did this weekend with Lush Monsters' Ball.

I got Monsters' Ball in my recent Halloween Haul! The Lush Halloween collection is absolutely amazing and it was hard to choose what products I wanted because they looked spooky and fun. Monsters' Ball was a very easy choice because I just think it looks so adorable with its one eye and its bright blue ears.

First Impressions
I just love how adorable this looks! it fits into the halloween collection perfectly seeing as its a little monster.  Its a light purple with bright blue ears with an eye in the middle which to me looks really cute. The smell before putting in the bath is very unique but quite a pleasant citrus smell. I had very high hopes before using this because of how bright it is and how pleasantly nice is smelt.

Bath Time
Before I have a Lush bath bomb I always  make sure the bath is very warm because me and my partner like to stay in the bath quite a long time with it because they are usually very relaxing and its a great time to actually just talk to each other. Once the bath was to our liking we popped in Monsters' Ball and it started to fizz all over the bath and you could really smell the aromas from it which I can honestly say was gorgeous but I had no idea what it was, but never the less it was lovely.

The bath was a mixture of blue and pink until it melted away which took around 5 minutes for it to completely melt and once it did it made the bath a nice dark purple which looked like space, it has to be one of the best looking bath products I have used from Lush and my partner agrees with me.

My Thoughts
We just loved Monsters' Ball and I am hoping it stays in the permanent range because the smell is nice and I looked on the Lush website and it said it is Lime Oil, Neroli Oil, Olibanum Oil and cocoa butter. It was very soothing on the skin and I could smell it on my skin till the next morning.

I had big expectations for this and I can honestly say this was worth every penny and I would buy it again and even recommend it.

Pros

  • Its Halloween Themed (one of my favourite holidays)
  • Colourful design in the bath ( bright blue and pink)
  • Cruelty Free ( all things in Lush are)
  • Vegan
    • Soothing and relaxing
Cons
  • Little bit on the expensive side at £4.25 but for me its nice treat.

Lush Monsters' Ball - £4.25 each

Have you got anything from the Lush Halloween Range?

Lush Halloween Collection

Lush halloween collection
Hi Lovelies
The Halloween collection has finally landed at Lush and they have so many spooky products to choose from (most are bath bombs) In this post I will list them all and also tell you all about the products I chose. As you can tell by the above picture that I pretty much bought everything from the collection because I couldn't resist because it all looked amazing and seeing as Halloween is only next month this collection may not last too long, so I wanted to try the ones I liked the look of incase they don't become permanent.

Little fact before I start the post .... this is the first time I've tried anything from the Halloween range even though I love Halloween and Lush.

What I bought
  • Boo Bath Melt - £3.50 - This is shaped like a cute little ghost and the four key ingredients in this are cocoa butter, ginger oil, geranium oil and mimosa absolute.
  • Monsters' Ball Bath Bomb - £4.25 - Love the name and love of this! its so darn adorable isn't it, I really don't want to use this haha. The four key ingredients in this are lime oil, neroli oil, olibanum oil and fair trade cocoa butter.
  • Autumn Leaf Bath Bomb - £3.75 - I really love the look of this because it has all the colours of autumn in this leaf, Im sure this will make an amazing display in the bath. The 4 key ingredients in this are neroli oil, sandalwood oil, Japanese maple sap and bergamot oil.
  • Pumpkin Bath Bomb £3.95 - When I usually think of pumpkins during halloween they are usually scary but this one has a little smiley face which looks nice. The 2 ingredients in this one are pimento oil and vanilla absolute.
  • Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar £3.95 - Another pumpkin but this one is sparkly and in a bubble bar form. The lady at lush suggested I try it because its amazing so I thought I'd give it a whirl. The 3 key ingredients in this are juniper berry oil, lime oil and grapefruit oil.
Other products in the lush Halloween Collection
  • Goth fairy shimmer bar
  • Lord of the misrule bath bomb
