July Beauty Favourites

July Beauty Favourites
I can't believe its going to be August tomorrow, this year has truly gone so quickly its unbelievable really how fast its going. I am going to be 25 in under 2 weeks and I have a few ideas to do for my birthday, so some serious planning to do for my birthday but apart from that .. seriously the years go so quickly don't they. This months favourites are perfect choice for me and they are just right for the summer as they are very fruity.
Barry M Loudmouth in Tease ( Vegan / Cruelty Free )
I just love red lipsticks and don't they just look so classic? Most of my lipsticks are red and give me such a confidence boost. This lipstick is very glossy and perfect for the summer, its easy for carry in your handbag and applies effortlessly.
Soap & Glory Hand Food ( Vegan / Cruelty Free )
I just love soap and glory products I was tempted to put my top 5 products as all of the brand! they are just so gorgeous and tip top quality. Hand food is hand moisturiser I use all year round and it leaves my hands super soft and smelling like heaven, well maybe not heaven but gorgeous marshmallows! can't get better than that.
Lush Vanilla Puff ( Vegan / Cruelty Free )
I am a big fan of lush vanilla puff as its a brilliant deodorant and natural. I use this as a skincare and a also as a deodorant. Lush dusting powders last me for ages and the last one I owned last me 11 months and that was with regular usage with me and my husband, they are the perfect deodorant and so affordable too.
The Body Shop Grapefruit Body Mist ( Vegetarian / Cruelty Free )
For me I just light and fresh fragrances and this body mist is perfect for that as its no over powering but its summery and long lasting. I use body mist to smell nice and I also use it on my cushions and on my duvet cover its perfect for multi tasking.
Batiste Dry Shampoo Oriental ( Vegan / Cruelty Free )
This has been a game changer for me this summer, I usually was my hair every other day and I use this between days and it keeps my hair looking amazing and smelling fresh like its been washed! so the perfect hair product for the summer months.

Lush Vanilla Puff Dusting Powder

Lush Vanilla Puff Dusting Powder Review
lush vanilla puff dusting powder review
Vanilla Puff Dusting Powder
Cruelty Free
I have to say unfortunately its yet another product I bought 3 weeks ago from lush that has been discontinued and it always seems to be my favourites that end up being discontinued such as the flying fox shower gel which I really love. I love using more natural deodorants as I have never been a fan of canned deodorants, I look for more natural deodorants and vanilla puff sounded like the perfect option for me.
I love lush for their deodorants and have used the Greeench which was so fabulous and so long lasting and its only just ran out after using it for nearly a year, not just myself but my husband also used it as well. Vanilla Puff isn't necessary a deodorant but I decided to use as one anyways and also for skincare as well.  Vanilla puff is delicate gorgeous vanilla scented powder and can be used for many things and I personally used it for deodorant and skincare but it could also be used on cushions or carpets for a fresh vanilla scent.
Its a shame its now been discontinued as it will last me ages, so its great value for money and smells just lovely but they is other dusting powders and deodorants on the lush website such as my favourite the greeench, silky underwear and get closer. Lush now have a powdered sunscreen called powdered sunshine which sounds brilliant!

John Gosnell's The Original Vitamin E Cream Review

John Gosnell's The Orignal Vitamin E Cream
For me skincare is super important thing and I have a routine I usually follow every single day. In the mornings I like to wash my face and just before I apply my makeup I put on a generous amount of moisturiser on to keep my face soft and non greasy.
John Gosnell's The Original Vitamin E Cream is a day moisturiser and has a very nice and fresh fragrance which is not over powering. I have sensitive skin and this cream didn't make my skin sore and left my face smooth and absorbed into my skin very quickly without any stickiness. I Applied this everyday for the past 3 weeks and its not irritated my skin at all and every time I use it, it leaves my skin soft. For everyday use I still have loads left too.
Overall super happy with this cream and would recommend it overall as its a good vitamin E cream and is very affordable at £10. The only slight problem I have the cream does have an old fashioned scent which I am not so keen on but apart from that for me its a winner on moisturiser part. I mailed the site and they informed me that this cream is cruelty free and it is also Vegan.
What is your favourite Moisturiser?

5 Healthier snack options

Hi Lovelies
I just love snacks and sometimes I am just in the mood for a Cadbury bar and I do like to treat myself every now and again.
I know we all deserve a treat every now and again but sometimes its a fabulous idea to try a healthier option that is not only healthy but tastes amazing too. These healthier options are things I have tried and I think they are brilliant alternatives and they are also great for helping you get your 5 a day.

5 Healthier Snack Options

  •  Chocolate - I like to sub chocolate with nakd bars and the are just so tasty and they have many flavours to choose from and they all are under 150 calories each. My favourites have to be bakewell tart and chocolate orange.
  • Haribo/Skittles- This is the most fun and colourful one for me and it have to be a fruit salad! Fruit salads are the most simple way to get your 5 a day and they are super healthy and delicious.
  • Crisps - I have recently swapped crisps for popcorn (not all varieties) as they usually have less calories and some varieties are gluten free and contain no artificial ingredients. They is also lower calorie crisps that are under 100 calories and they are quavers and wotsits, read the label and quite a few crisps will leave you pleasantly surprised.
  • Biscuits - I found 2 alterative for biscuits and that is Special K bars as they are 100 calories a bar and they are decent sized too. As for the other flapjacks as they are full of oats and we all know oats are very good for us.
  • Ice Cream - Seeing as its summer we all love our ice cream but they is fabulous alterative such as frozen yogurt and fruit sorbet which are very refreshing for the summer months

Don't forget everyone this is stuff I found to be a great alternative and its fine for us all to have a treat whenever we feel we deserve one.
What are your favourite healthy snacks?

Day out - Edinburgh Zoo

 Hi Lovelies
Its been a while since my last post but I've had a busy and eventful past few days and I have a lot to share with you all on my blog. As some of you may know its recently been Eid for Muslims and I've had a busy weekend as I went to Glasgow central mosque for the first time ever for the Eid prayers and after that we went to dinner at my husbands mums house! she made the most amazing food and dessert I was full for the rest of the day. My husbands mum gave us Eid money for the kids to take  them zoo so we ended up taking the kids over to Edinburgh Zoo for a lovely Eid treat.

As we Live in Glasgow already Edinburgh isn't that much of a journey for us thankfully so we just took the car and it took us about an hour to get to Edinburgh Zoo. Parking at the Zoo was ok even though I found it a tad bit expensive at £4. They wasn't much of a queue when we went to the zoo as it was just before 3pm and it cost us just under £50 for us as my youngest daughter who is 2 got in for free. I know its a zoo and the upkeep of the animals is expensive but for me the price was a tad bit on the expensive side but I was optimistic visiting the zoo.

They was a nice selection of animals to see at the zoo but I found the some enclosure's weren't suitable for the sizes of the animals. The biggest disappointment for me is its impossible to see the pandas, this is the second time in 3 years I have been to Edinburgh zoo and both time the pandas have been fully booked so its really hard to see them, last time I visited I went super early too. We looked seeing the monkeys and they looked very happy to see visitors and they were my youngest daughters favourite part of the day. As a treat for seeing the whole park we decided to get ice creams as a nice treat and it cost over £8 for 2 ice cream and 2 calipo, so I would suggest if you visit the park bring a packed lunch as it can be a bit expensive otherwise.
To leave the zoo you have to go through the gift shop so be aware haha! We got the kids 2 dinosaur teddies and I also got my brother a badge as he loves to collect them and have over 7000 now.
I don't like giving a negative reviews but for me Chester zoo is so much better and you can see more animals and its easier to get around.
Have you been to Edinburgh Zoo before?

My Weekly Makeup Brush Cleaning Routine

makeup brushes cleaning routine
For me I just love cleaning my makeup brushes every week as they are so refreshed and smell lovely too and I would even go as for as its even therapeutic for me. I have a routine for my makeup brushes every sunday as sunday for me is my big clean-up day not just makeup brushes but for me my house ( I do clean everyday but Sunday I clean everything from behind the wardrobes to under beds).
I am a big makeup fan and use makeup most days and I tend to use most of my makeup brushes. The ones I use I put in a separate jar to the ones I haven't used yet, this makes it easy to know which makeup brushes need cleaning.

My Makeup Brush Cleaning Routine
- Wash each brush separately in an empty glass jar with a small drop of shampoo
- Rinse each brush separately making sure all makeup is removed. For the my makeup sponge I do the same but squeeze it with the shampoo and rinse.
- Put upside down in jar like the above picture
- Brushes usually dry within 2 hours during warm days.
Advantages of washing brushes every week
- Washing regular keeps brushes fresh and clean
- Will make your brushes last longer.
Makeup is easier to apply on fresh brushes

My Top Tips
- Use a shampoo that isn't harsh such as faith in nature or Lush, as they have natural ingredients.
- Put a reminder on your calendar for when you next need to clean brushes
What is your Makeup Brush cleaning routine?

Lush Creamy Candy Bubble Bar Review

Lush Creamy Candy Bubble Bar Review
While going shopping the other day with my husband and my daughters in Lush they just love it when the members of staff show them different bath bombs with all the different sparkles and different colours. My daughters love Lush as they always choose something they want for bath time, they looked at most of them and decided to choose Creamy Candy bubble bar which is a pink bubble bar with a bright yellow flower in the middle and smells very sweet with vanilla scent.
I decided only to use half of the Creamy Candy bubble bar as most of the time with Lush bubble bars they last more then one bath, so they can be used for more then one bath. The good thing about this bubble bar is it was very easy to put this in two slices with a table knife. Putting this in running water it just made so many bubbles my girls loved how many bubbles it had and that's just from one slice of the bubble bar. My daughter really liked the scent saying it smelt like cake haha. The bubble bar made many bubbles and made the bath a nice light pink shade and melted easily without any mess or any clumps.
Lush Creamy Candy Bubble Bar Review
Creamy candy bubble bar is a very sweet candy scented bubble bar with a beautiful blend of vanilla, cocoa butter and almond oil but the sweetness isn't over the top its got the perfect measure of each fragrance and reminds of Snow Fairy shower gel from the Christmas Lush range. This bubble bar  is a nice treat for £2.75 that can be used twice its a great pamper bargain.
Creamy Candy Bubble Bar is Vegan
List of ingredients
Sodium Bicarbonate
Sodium Laureth Sulfate
Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter
Lauryl Betaine
Almond Oil
Fair Trade Vanilla Absolute
Citric Acid
Titanium Dioxide

The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Body Mist Review

pink grapefruit body mist the body shop
I have never been a person who has loads of perfumes as I can never make my mind up which one to buy and quite a lot of the brands aren't cruelty free unfortunately. My perfume collection only consists on 2 perfumes and they were gifts and weren't something I would personally choose myself.  This Pink Grapefruit body mist however is something I would choose as its a favourite of mine as its got a zesty scent and is very long lasting and very affordable for me.
Pink Grapefruit body mist is a very zingy and citrusy scent and is very light, I use it like I would use a perfume but I also put it on my clothes too. The scent contains real pink grapefruit extract so the scent doesn't smell fake like some scents based on fruits. I also find this perfume not only works well as a body mist I find it works really well on fabrics such as duvet covers and curtains, I spray it round my home as its such a nice refreshing pink grapefruit scent. This body mist is super affordable at £7.50 for 100ml.
I wouldn't say it has any big bad points apart from the fact you might need a re-spray after 6 hours for a scent you can keep smelling but apart from that its brilliant prodcut and I am tempted to try more of the body mists and even the fragrances from the body shop now.
Body Shop are a cruelty free brand BUT they are owned by L'Oreal
Products Ingredients
Full Ingredients
Alcohol Denat. (Solvent/Diluent), Aqua (Solvent/Diluent), Limonene (Fragrance Ingredient), Parfum (Fragrance), Linalool (Fragrance Ingredient), Citrus Grandis Fruit Extract (Skin-Conditioning Agent), Citral (Fragrance Ingredient), Geraniol (Fragrance Ingredient), Denatonium Benzoate (Denaturant).

Soap & Glory Haul

Soap & Glory Haul Review

I just love shopping and its been a while since I treated myself to some skincare and Soap & Glory are one of the best skincare companies to me! A few days back I decided to go for some retail therapy and treat myself to some makeup and some skincare products, as always I seem to go to Breahead as its easy for me to get too and the parking is free and my family don't mind shopping in their either as they have events every now and again as at the moment its dinosaur themed, which my son loves ( I think its because of the new Jurassic park film)
Boots was the last shop I went to the other day ands its where I picked up these Soap & Glory  beauties! I just could not help myself getting these as the display looked so flawless and the retro pink design just stood out for me! The design is just perfect as its a classy pink with retro photos and quirky product names, what's not to love? I was lucky as soap and glory have an offer on the moment in which you spend £10 you get The Righteous Butter for free which itself costs £10!!! I chose hand food which has been a favourite of mine for years now I have lost count how many years as its smells gorgeous and keeps my hands soft no matter the weather. I also chose Heel Genius as I never seem to treat my feet so I just got this to see how well it works it smells delightful but I will have a full review of all the products on my blog in the next few weeks to give them all a fair trail period.
Products I Bought
- The Righteous Butter = Body Moisturiser (RRP £10)
- Hand Food = Hand Moisturiser (RRP£5.50)
- Heel Genius - Feet Mosituriser (RRP £5.50)

Hi Lovlies
I never thought the UK government would even think about changing the hunting ban but unfortunately they have decided they  is going to be a debate whether or not to bring it back on Wednesday 15th of July! so its very important that as many people as possible sign the petition to keep the ban!

The Hunting act came in 2004 and fast forward to now  within 4 days they is going to be a free vote whether or not to change this so please take action. I think everyone against fox hunting  sharing a selfie with #KEEPTHEBAN and sharing the links where people can sign the petitions to stop them bringing back fox hunting will make a difference so if you want to do this feel free and share your blog links or instagrams and I will share them!

Fox hunting is cruel and is not a SPORT! They is no need for this in modern Britain!

They is more information on the petitions on the following sites

Lush Haul

Lush Haul
Its been so long since I have been to Lush Cosmetics as I have been busy as I recently moved to Glasgow but thankfully now everything has settled down and we are all settled in our new home and we are getting used to Glasgow more and more everyday. My favourite place to go shopping in Glasgow so far has to be intu Braehead which is a shopping centre and it has quite a few of my favourite shops such as Marks and Spencer's, Topshop and of course Lush.
Lush has been a favourite shop of mine for a few years now as they are a brand who are not afraid to raise awareness when they share campaigns and they are against animal cruelty and offer products that are vegan or vegetarian, can't get any better than that.
When going shopping with my family to Lush in braehead as soon as I went to the shop the staff were so friendly and a nice lady showed my daughters how space girl worked and it made my girls smile! My daughters even chose a bubble bar which is called creamy candy. I had made a wish list of what I wanted before hand and also bought vanilla puff as I like natural deodorant and flying fox as I am a big fan of anything with honey!
 What I bought
~Vanilla Puff - Dusting Powder
~Flying Fox Shower Gel
~Space Girl
~ Creamy Candy Bubble Bar
