Journey to a size 10 - Week 1

Hi Lovelies
I have started my own journey to hopefully get to my goal of a size 10 and eating healthier and jogging a lot. At the moment I over treat myself to foods such as cakes, chocolates and anything with a bit to many calories. I used to be a size 12 last year but this year I am more near a size 16 but I would love to be my goal size of a size 10.

Since having my youngest daughter (via c section) I have not lost much weight at all, if anything I have gained it, I don't mind the fact of the weight gain it just means I just have to work harder to get to my goal but saying that I am not going to do it quickly this journey is going to be slow so its more likely the weight stays down and most of all I want to do it in the most healthiest way possible. I have many goals for this year for this journey and I am really looking forward to it, I know its not going to be an easy task for me but its something I want to do. I have so much I am changing for my journey such as healthier meals and excising more and generally just enjoying life.

July 1st stats
Weight - 159 pounds
Height - 5'3
Waist - 29
Hips - 39
Thighs - 24

Goals this week

  • Make my meals smaller  - I usually eat big meals and sometimes I over eat so hopefully cutting down will be good idea.
  • Loose at least 1 pound - I am aiming low so its more achievable. If I loose more then that though I won't be complaining haha.
  • Have healthier snacks - Instead of going for a chocolate bar or an ice cream all the time go for an healthier alternative such as fruit or fruit ice lollys.
  • Keep Motivation - This is the biggest one for me and I am determined to keep motivation.
  • More exercise- I want to be able to jog more but I will start exercising at home too.

  3. What a great plate of fruit there! I think switching up chocolate for fruit and foods free from refined sugar is a great idea. Remember you still need a treat every now and again though :) xxx

Good luck! I've gone from a size 12 to a 14/16 since starting uni and I've just decided to make the conscious effort to get back to a 12! I really like using MyFitnessPal - it's a free app where you can track meals, exercise and set goals and things, I'd recommend it :)

  5. Good luck ! I'm currently in the middle of trying to lose the extra weight that I have accumulated over the last year.
