Review // Lush Bubblegum Scrub

lush bubblegum lip scrub

Its been a while since I last tried my last Lush lip scrub ( I think it was late 2014) and I really thought it was  about time to try a new one seeing as I loved the previous one I bought before which I think was a Christmas edition called Santa lip scrub. I decided to go this one bubble gum lip scrub when I got my latest spring inspired lush haul.

I have noticed that the lip scrubs are made from castor sugar which acts as the scrub which helps get rid of the dead skin and they also contain jojoba oil to help keeps lips soft ready to apply lipstick or just to leave them as they are. I love the fact that this product only has 6 ingredients and its also vegan.

Bubble Gum lip scrub is named perfectly as the scrub itself is a lovely hot pink and the smell oh my goodness its just heaven! it smells like candyfloss, bubble gum and sweets, I know it sounds overly sweet but the blend of it all just goes together like apple and pie.

Seeing as this product is made out of sugar  it is quite grainy but seeing as its a scrub that’s a good thing and once you lick it off it leaves lips very soft.

This lip scrub tastes gorgeous and I am really tempted to apply this to my lips twice a day because it tastes so nice.

This jar costs Β£5.50 and I think its fantastic value for money because the last lip scrub I owned nearly lasted a year!
