Fitness Journal Week Seven

Hi Lovelies
I know its been a few weeks since I last posted but I am back on track with my weekly fitness journal  updates. I don't want to make excuses for myself but I haven't been feeling right the past couple of weeks because my hormones have been a little on the high side so Ive had a couple of trips to the doctors and blood tests which hasn't been pleasant to put into words. I still need to go again for another blood test, so fingers crossed Il have more answers then.

I haven't been giving my goals a 100% as I should of but I did still go to the gym as much as possible and go for long walks. I am still feeling motivated to get to my goals, the journey make take longer but I'm looking forward to the journey.

Food Diary
Seeing as I have gone vegan my diet has changed a little bit and obviously now they is no eggs or diary. In the mornings I have usually had porridge with soy milk or toast if I am in a rush, I know toast isn't always the healthiest option but I do tend to buy wholemeal bread plus I usually have a banana with it.

For lunch I usually make my own vegetable soup and at the moment my favourite potato and leek soup, its delicious and also warming which is a bonus in this cold and wet weather. For dinner I usually have lots of vegetables with either veggie sausages or a homemade curry.

Snacks have been a little on the junk food side, I think I've eaten way to many crisps and stuff but il try and reduce that for next week.

Fitness Diary
I am actually happy with the amount I have been walking the past few week, I can improve on it but you know I am on a journey not a race.  I haven't been to the gym as much as I would like but the times I have went I have been improving my cardio and planks ( I can do it longer than my partner now haha)

Favourite Motivation Songs
  • Antidote - Swedish House Mafia
  • We will rock you - Queen
  • Perfect Illusion - Lady Gaga

Goals for next week
  • Keep myself motivated
  • Go to the gym more
  • Eat better

Until next week

Thanks for reading ♥

  1. Good luck on your fitness journey. But do take care of yourself as well, sounds like that needs to be a priority. The gym will always be there when you're feeling better.

    1. Thanks, I am not training as much as I usually would. I am just doing light cardio at the moment :)

  • Don't be harsh on yourself. Going back to a vegetarian lifestyle is not a step back at all. Hope you feel better soon, and your blood tests will give you the answers.

  • Sorry you have not been well and hope the tests find out the cause, good luck on your fitness journey x

I'm not veggie or vegan but I do try and opt for as many plant based options as possible when I'm eating - it's definitely good to do! Good luck with the rest of your fitness journey, really enjoying following it!

  • You are doing so well so don't be harsh on yourself. Sorry you haven't been feeling well and hope you feel better soon x

You are doing well, so don't forget to be kind to yourself!

Keep up good work! You're doing brilliantly x

  • Motivation is definitely the key, if you happen to see mine lurking around could you bottle it and send it back to me? x

  • I am vegetarian and sometimes find it hard to eat out, being vegan would pose more problems I think. Keep up the good work and I hope you achieve your set goals.

Well done on going back to being vegan, it can be tough with options but places are much better at making changes to menus if they can x

You are doing so well! I've just started a weight loss journey so it's great to read posts like this!

  • You're doing better than my mummy on your fitness journey! Well done, it can be hard reaching your goals but it sounds like you are on the right path xx

  • You look incredible well done! There are so much more vegan choices available now, I love it! Makes it so much easier

Good on you for keeping yourself fit and healthy! You sound like you're doing great! Although I'm not vegan or vegetarian, I tend to eat more veggie meals anyway as I feel meat bloats me and actually doesn't help with my weight. We also try not to divulge in too much dairy as there are so many bad effects it can have on your boy so we have started using soya milk instead of cows milk. Little steps but they have made a big difference to myself!

  • My friend told me that there are more and more vegan products available now than 5 years ago. Good luck with your health and fitness regime :)

  • Yay! I need to follow you for longer as you are a great fit inspiration! I really like the idea of writing down your goals. I always find that I am more likely to do things that are noted somewhere in my calendar. Thank you for connecting with me. Best Wishes, Iga

I really need to try and make myself get healthy. I'm so unhealthy and so unfit, so I should make an effort!

Well done on going vegan. I have been vegetarian for 11 years and I really want to take the next step and go vegan.

  • I have to say I am impressed with how many places do now offer Vegan alternatives, so much better than it used to be.

  • I hope you feel better soon and they figure out what's going on. Blood tests are a nightmare and I actually get bad anxiety when I have to get one done. Good on you for still exercising though, it can be hard to keep motivated when other things are going on. And congrats on going vegan, I'm a veggie but haven't made the leap to going vegan yet. And bread is brill for you especially if you are doing exercise, it is giving you the good energy and actually gives you a slow release of it so you will actually benefit from having that in the morning and a banana on top is just the icing on the cake really!!

  • You are doing ace! High five lady. You just have to take the pressure off yourself, when you relax into a fitness routine it will feel fantastic. I am a fitness blogger, and training to be a PT so any questions feel free to fire them at me xx
