Lush The Comforter Shower Cream Review

Lush the comforter shower cream review
Hi Lovelies
They is no denying when it comes to Lush I am a bit of Lush addict and to be absolutely honest I am super proud of that. I have tried so many of their products now that I have lost count, thankfully I can look back at what I have bought over the years in my Directory . I have heard many recommendations and positive things about The Comforter and of course eventually treated myself to the tiniest bottle I could find in Lush ( I tend to buy the smallest just incase I don't like the product then I don't feel like I have wasted my money).

The Comforter comes in 3 different products from what I can see; Shower cream, bubble bar and a moisturiser.  The shower gel comes in 4 different sizes priced between £4.95-£27.95, the product is vegan and as with all things from Lush cruelty free.

The Comforter Shower Cream  (100ml - £4.95)

The comforter is a super bright hot pink shower cream with little bits of sparkles in it and is described as being wrapped in a snug hug because it has uplifting scents of cassis absolute, bergamot and almond oil.

My Thoughts
The first thing I noticed about this shower cream was how gorgeous the smell was! I could really smell the sweet scents in this, its very uplifting especially with the combinations of the sparkles in it. The cream itself is very thin and rather runny but you don't need a lot because it gives a rather nice lather, I would recommend being prepared for using this so they is little waste.

The cream was very soft and pretty weightless on my skin and lathered up quite nicely, a little bit went a long way and the smell was just heaven and I can see what they mean when lush describe it as being a snug hug ( totally agree now!)

I was a little bit worried that with it being such a bright pink that it might of left a bit of staining on my bath tub but thankfully it just all washed away. After my shower the shower cream left my skin feeling soft and myself smelling of the comforter till the next day and with me saying that lush really needs to make a the comforter perfume as it smells amazing.

Overall I just love The Comforter and I really wish I bought the biggest bottle because seeing as I got  the smallest it has now been used up by me and my husband; boo! If you like sweet smelling products then I would defiantly recommend this.

What are your favourite products from Lush?

10 Things Motherhood Has Taught Me

Hi Lovelies!
As you all know I am a mummy of 3 amazing children, 2 girls and a boy between the ages of 3 and 8 and being a mum is such a blessing, sure they can be some stresses at times but its always overlooked with the pride of being a mom and of course they is always more positives.

Motherhood has taught me many things over the years and you learn so much too. I am glad to be tagged by Mum Amie to write 10 things motherhood has taught me.

1. Being Confident - Before I had children I wasn't the most confident person in the world, but now I still may be a little shy but my confidence has built so much since being pregnant with my first born, after going  through all the appointments, the c section and watching him grow, many years have passed and I've had two more since then I can now talk to anyone.

2. Appreciate the little things - a few things that always brings a little tear to my eye is when one of my children picks me a flower like daisy or draws me in a picture, those things I appreciate so much.

Also when one of my children says they love that makes my heart melt, its just a blessing and another amazing thing to appreciate.

3. Admire my own mum so much more - Being a mum can be a challenge at time and it reminds me of when I was a child and how I was with my mum sometimes, she was always amazing when I was growing up and she still is! I just love my mum and appreciate how good she is with me and her grandchildren.

I live 100 miles away from my mum and really wish I lived nearer because she's just a brilliant mum and I miss seeing her every week.

4. Become a stronger person then I thought - Pregnancy was a challenge and caused me to have lower back pain a lot but I always plodded along, I also had 3 c sections which recoveries weren't easy but I went through it with a smile because my babies were worth every minute and I would do it again if I had too.

Even now I feel strong because being a mum and being with my partner can have some challenges but they is always ways forward through everything eventually.

5. Appreciate time with my partner - Being a mum takes 100% of the day up so when my mum babysits and me and my husband go out for dinner or something we appreciate  that time together that little bit more.
The same thing goes for night time we enjoy each others company and we try to squeeze and much as possible in at night time like watch a film.
6. Learning how to Cook - Before I had children I was lucky to make a pot noodle, now I can cook so many things like curries, cakes and pretty much anything in my recipe book! I even have my own little creations now too which is fab.

7. Plan - Another thing I didn't do before I had children was plan anything out, my basic day was going to work early in the morning and having no idea what to do the rest of the time, I know it sounds daft but that was just me in the past.

Now I plan out everything from meals, when I go shopping and where to go for mini holidays with the family.

8. Try new things - I have done so many new things over the years like learnt to knit, the reason I started was I wanted to make my own baby clothes for my children. I also started this blog two years as well.

9. Enjoy every moment - Its surpising how fast the years go, its so important to enjoy every moment and live each day to the most, I also have a photo album to look back at memories.

10. Patience - Sometimes in life its annoying having to wait for things but I have learnt sometimes waiting things is best then getting it straight away.

I tag anyone who would like to do this post too! Please send me links in the comments if you do this post too! I hope you enjoyed reading about 10 things motherhood has taught me, just so you all know they is many other things I have learnt too but these are the ones I just thought of :)

Lush BB Seaweed Fresh Face Mask

lush bb seaweed fresh face mask
lush bb seaweed review
Hi Lovelies
Its been ages since I last treated myself to a face mask, I think the last one I used was the Lush don't look me fresh face mask which I just loved and managed to use it with my husband about 4 times each so yes a fab value product that left out skin feeling amazing and smelling lovely. When I went to lush to get this I was in two minds whether to get this or don't look at me, but decided to go for the change and get the Lush BBSeaweed face mask instead.

BBSeaweed is a calming fresh face mask that contains fresh seaweed, ground almonds, rose absolute and aloe vera. This face mask is also meant to be good at exfoliating the skin as it has millet flakes, kaolin and refreshing rosemary oil. The fragrances in this are seaweed, honey, rose and one of my personal favourites aloe vera.

BB Seaweed Fresh Face Mask 75g - £6.95
This is a fresh face mask so its best kept in the fridge to keep it at as fresh as possible, the consistency of this face cream is very thick almost creamy texture and its also very cooling with a little bits of seaweed in it and applying it was a quite easy as it was smooth with the exception of the seaweed bits. When this was on my skin it felt relaxing and I could really smell a nice smell of violet and rose.

After having this on my skin for 15 minutes ( recommend time 10-15 minutes) I washed it off with warm water and it too me about 5 minutes to completely remove all the face mask as it was very creamy and I must also add I could feel it moisturising my skin during that process. Once I dried my face with a dry warm towel I could feel the difference it made to my skin and it was noticeably softer then it was before the face mask, my skin also smelt very nice too.

  • Soothing on the skin especially including mine which is sensitive.
  • Great value as it has about 7 applications
  • All natural ingredients
  • Skin noticeably softer after washing off
  • None :)

Final thoughts
Just love this face mask, the fact its cold makes it that much better because it so cooling and relaxing! The amount you get it also very generous and you could get about 7 uses out of this so only about £1 per application so its a bargain really. If your looking for a face mask that gently exfoliates the skin I would defiantly recommend this.

Have you tried Lush face masks before? What are your favourite face mask?

Late Summer Lush Haul

lush bath products
Hi Lovelies
Its been such a long time since I last did a blog post! I have missed blogging so much but I do have a few genuine reasons why I didn't blog; firstly my laptop was broken and I could't access a laptop because I am a busy mum so basically my mum was amazing and bought me a new one and now I am back in business, yay I'm back :)

Anyways onwards and upwards and todays post is about my latest lush haul. I have no idea why but most of the time when I go to Lush I always ending up buying bath products and I think I have nearly tried all of their bath products now, the main reasons I like to try them is I love watching them in the bath with all the colours or even sparkles and also the variety of different scents they have.

What I Bought
Dragons Egg
The main reason I bought this was because I recently started to watch the Game of Thrones and this bath dragons egg reminds me of the Khalesi dragons eggs.

Honey Bee
Love the name of this, the reason for that being is my name in Greek actually means honey bee! so for that quirky reason I just had to try it.

The Comforter
I have the shower gel and I just love it so I thought it was about time I bought the shower gel!

Other Lush products I bought this month
BBSeaweed Face Mask
I just loved using the Lush don't look at me face mask I thought it was about time that I bought a new one to try.

Charity Pot
I have tried the small ones for a long time now so I decided to buy the larger tub

What are your recent purchases from Lush?

Creating a Positive Bedroom Enviroment

Follow my blog with Bloglovin
Hi Lovelies
For me personally my bedroom is my favourite room in the house because it has all my stuff in it and of course my big comfy bed with all my cushion; I have so many cushions I have actually lost count I have. My room is very pink and very organised, I have a place for everything in my room. My dressing table is like my mini office area.

. The topic I am touching on today is E.D which is short for erectile dysfunction
E.D is more common than you think with roughly 1-3 men suffering from it in the past year! Its not a big deal and if it happens to you it really doesn't matter. It's happened to my husband before and we have talked about it and we have improved on the areas we thought needed improving, whether that be the time or the environment we are in.

There are many causes of E.D and it could happen to any man, with statics saying at least 26% of men experiencing it under the age of 40. The cause could be from physical or psychological issues ranging from smoking, drinking to anxiety, stress, depression or even performance anxiety. Even though there is many reasons for this to happen only 38% knew that there were many causes of it.

I would like to add its OK to talk to your GP if you want, as sometimes treatments might be helpful such as buy Cialis

My Top Tips
  • Go to bed earlier  - I feel like this one is super important because if you need to be up early in the morning and you barely sleep as it is, it would make a difference to how you feel in the bedroom, going earlier and spending time with each other makes a difference.
  • Talk to each other (if you have a partner) - This one is so important too, its important to talk to each other as a couple, its good to discuss anything including problems you may have or things you would like to happen.
  • Don't have a tv in the bedroom - My bedroom is designed for sleeping, putting my makeup on and for writing blog posts.
  • Fragrances - Such as candles, perfume or plug in air fresheners. I like having a large Yankee candle in my room with a spicy smell.
  • Keeping the room tidy - I don't like having a messy room, I think putting things away and keeping the bed made makes the room look nicer.
  • Read a Book - I love reading in bed especially with my lamp next to my bed. Reading helps me sleep easier.

What are your tips to a positive bedroom environment?
