Favourite Skincare Products 2017

So 2018 is now well underway and my healthy eating resolution has already failed aha! But I can't complain I've had a great start to the year so far and hope the trend continues for the rest of the year. So far this year we had an amazing night in on new years day and just this past weekend we went to the Iron-Bru Carnival and OMG everyone! We all had so much fun. The rides were brilliant and the fresh warm doughnuts were just divine, I am actually want to make my own homemade doughnuts now because they taste so much nicer.

Skincare in 2017 was a big game changer for me as I added more skincare products than ever into my routine and honestly using more variety of products has made such a difference to my skin. I remember a few years back when all the skincare products I had were Nivea skincare cream for my face (damn it stung too) and also my soap and glory hand cream ( I still love this even now)
favourite skincare products
I just love how multi-purpose this balm is! I use this on my lips to prevent my lips getting dry and cracked during winter and it's also perfect on my partner's hands who likes to go to the gym so his hands can get quite dry with callus when he does heavyweights.

Lush Snow Fairy Body Conditioner
Snow fairy has to be one of my favourite scents EVER! It has the sweetest scent and has lots of lovely sparkles in it too. I can have the scent all year round with this little pot of body conditioner. I love to use this on my body and arms, its just divine.

I must admit prior to 2017 was very far and in-between and the usual face masks I ever used were ones you get in a packet. This face mask has to be one of my favourites as it cleanses my skin and unblocks my pore on my face and nose. My nose tends to get a lot of dry and clogged pores but this helps to clear my skin quickly. It is a little tingly though but it works.
I love this cream and I first got it as a sample in Lush and I loved it so much that I ended up buying the full size. I love to use this on my hands as prevents them getting dry and cracked during the winter and also from getting dry in the summer. The scent is just lovely too.

Palmers Foot Magic
I like to walk most places as I cant drive so I like to give my feet a little extra TLC. This exfoliates the feet and once washed off it leaves feet feeling soft and has helped sort out my dry heals into lovely soft feet.

I just love this cream as it smells delcious like almond and it works wonders on my skin. I use this on my arms chest and tummy as it helps to firm my skin and my goodness it does a fabulous job at it too.   This cream is to help with skins elasticity and stimulates celluar renewal.

This has to be my favourite product of 2017! It smells beautful like citrus and works wonderuflly well on mine and my partners skin. We put this on every night after we wash our faces and it feels so silky on the skin. It feels quite thick but eventually sinks into the skin and once you wake up in the morning our skin feels rejuvinated and glowing.

What were your favourite skincare products of 2017?

Lush Luxury Lush Pud | Review

I promise I do post more posts than just Lush but recently I fell back in-love with Lush products and it's mostly because I just love it when they have themed products and Christmas as we all know is the best for many things including bath bombs. I know I am a little late on the bandwagon posting about 'Lush Luxury Lush Pud' but you know I just love the photos of the product and the product itself is defiantly worth talking about so if you got it or bought it in the sales you are so lucky because I wish I got a couple more of these.

Lush are fabulous when it comes to their seasonal products but this year I was a little disappointed that a few of my favourites from last year didn't come back such as "Mistletoe" "Yog Nog" and "Cinders" being a few of them. Not only that they seem to get rid of well-loved products that not only I like but others too such as Vanilla Puff Dusting Powder, Flying Fox Shower Gel and Space Girl Ballistic

First Impressions
I have tried this bath bomb a few years back and thought it was well in order to try it again seeing as its been ages. I usually like to try different things from Lush but I remembered that I loved this and you should buy things you like right?

I just love the design of this bath bomb with the mistletoe and the bright pink with the colourful polka dots, it looks so fun don't you agree?

 My Thoughts
I just love the design of this bath bomb with its bright pink and mistletoe on-top of it. The scent is very much like Sleepy body lotion and the Twilight bath bomb which I have tried before but totally forgot to write about I don't know how I didn't haha.

As soon as I put this into the bath it just fizzled into an abyss of colour; the colours were so vibrant and kinda reminded me of a Christmas pudding in a way. The circles gave out spirals of colour and it blended into a hot pink colour. At the end of all that the mistletoe was left which felt a  little bit like jelly.

I really liked this bath bomb and wish I reviewed it sooner so I kinda hope you don't think I'm being annoying bringing back Christmas up haha. I love how soft this felt on my skin and I am sure I had a better nights sleep after this because of the lavender.

What I Got For Christmas 2017

I've been debating whether or not to do a 'What I Got For Christmas' post because they can be a bit like marmite, you love em, or hate them. I happen to love them so I decided to post what I got this year and surprisingly enough it is the first time on my blog that I have done this kind of post so it is a nice change for me and my blog.

Usually, we spend Christmas at my mum's house but this year it was different. We decided to spend Christmas at home for the first time ever so present giving was completely different this time. My partner and I don't tend to go crazy with buying presents as we usually buy more gifts during Eid and Birthdays but we wanted to have a little change this year as it was our first Christmas together with just us and our 3 kids.

I was remarkably organised and got all my presents sorted for my family by the end of November so my stress levels were low for December. My partner, on the other hand, likes to keep what he's got close to his chest so I had no idea what he bought me this year which made waiting for Christmas that extra bit exciting.
What I Got For Christmas
After my kids opened their presents and we got all of their toys out of their boxes so they could play with their new toys I finally opened my presents along with my partner who opened his. I got partner a blue PlayStation controller, 2 PlayStation games including W2K 2018 and also so clothes. My partner was a diamond and bought me things that I have wanted for ages and he never forgot, he's honestly a lovely person to me. I also got a present of my partners family who I've got closer to this year which is amazing.

So what did I get you ask?

Here is what I got for Christmas 2017!

Mugler Alien Eau De Toilette 30ml
I have wanted this perfume for the entire 2017 and when I got it for Christmas I cried. I know it sounds daft but I was just so happy because I just love the design of the bottle and the fragrance is just beautiful. The perfume is described as refreshing, sparkly and feminine. It has radiant notes of mandarin essence for a zesty twist with cashmeran wood and white amber which give a hint of sensuality and Moroccan jasmine for luminosity.

Swarovski Crystaldust Cuff in Green
For many years I have loved products from Swarovski and this cuff has been on my wish-list for just over a year now. I just love the design and colour of this and can't wait to wear it out next time I got out to a party/dinner.

Molton Brown Rosa Absolute Show Gel
I have heard of Molton Brown products for years but I never actually got going round to going into their shops until the spring of 2017 and the thing that drew me into the shop was the advertising of the Russian leather scented products. While inside I was mesmerised by the scent of all the different products including the shower gels, candles and skincare. This shower gel smells delicious and is eerily like Lush Rose Jam.

Lush Sleepy Body Lotion
My partner has known that I have wanted this for ages because he hears me talking about it all the time LOL! I have seen all the positive reviews about this product so I had my hopes set on this lotion and thankfully I got it. This lotion is supposed to help you sleep so hopefully, this will work for me, look out in the future for updates on this.

I hope you all enjoyed this post as much as I loved writing about it, I kinda wish I did more Christmas themed posts in 2017 but its something I am looking to do this year for sure. If you have a what I got for a Christmas post I would love to read it, post your link below so I can comment on it.

What did you get for Christmas this year?
