My Autumn Fragrance | Wish List

This year is going pretty fast at the moment isn't it? We are 8 months into 2017 and we are only 4 months away from 2018! The time really needs to slow down especially with the fact I recently turned 27 and I can't believe how fast the years have gone by. I know we have a little bit more of the summer to go but once the summer holidays end I always look forward to the autumn and winter and the things I love about the seasons to come are the snuggly clothes, hot chocolate and the shorter days! I really am not a fan of longer days apart from the fact I have more time to take blog photos haha.

As much as I love perfumes I don't have that many in my collection but I do have a few perfumes in mind which I would love to have and wear this autumn, a girl can dream can't she?
my autumn fragrance wish list
Clive Christian Cosmos Flower Feminine Edition // £350
I know the price is quite expensive but wow the bottle on this is just divine! It has to be the one of the best bottle designs I have seen to date and the fragrance sounds so beautiful too. The fragrance is cosmos flower, bittersweet cocoa, sensual jasmine and sweet plum. All of these factors tell me this maybe an expensive product but the ingredients in Clive christians perfumes are rare and the bottles look like something you would want to keep forever, I can see why that these have been described as one of the  best perfumes for women

Lush Devil's Nightcap // £44
I have tried a couple of different fragrances from Lush and they haven't let me down yet! They have a beautiful selection of fragrances to choose from and this one is described as 'Dark Glamour' on the lush website. This is from the set in stone collection and with a scent described as a walk through an ancient countryside with sea air in your lungs which sounds delightful. The 3 key notes in this are oakmoss absolute, oakwood absolute and orange flower absolute.

Paco Rabanne Black XS // From £28.95
I used to have this perfume 5 years ago and I just loved the fragrance which is very fresh and fruity! I must warn you all though, this is a very strong perfume so only a little bit is required to last all day and smell lovely. This perfume is a mix of cranberry, pink pepper, violet, vanilla and so many other lovely sweet and bold scents!

Kat Von D 'Sinner'  eau de parfum // from £18
I have been a big fan of Kat Von D for years now and when her makeup line came out I was super duper excited to give her products a try and I haven't been disappointed by any of her products yet. Her perfume range has recently been released in 'sinner' and 'Saint' and I just love the look of both but would love to try sinner first. Sinner is described as spicy and has key ingredients of patchouli, wood and cinnamon.

Joan Collins I Am Woman eau de parfum // from £12
I have been a fan of Joan since I watched Dynasty a few years back now, I love her style and I admire her a lot for all the charity work she has done. I won a makeup compact from Joan Collins Beauty a few months back and I was vey impressed with the quality of the makeup and the compact so it is only fitting for me to want to try her perfume. This perfume is described as an oriental and has a mixture of key ingredients from floral to zesty such as orange zest, jasmine and cedar wood.

July | Wish List

Hi Flamingos, I hope you are all well?
I haven't done a blog posts as much as I have wanted to lately and for people who follow me on twitter and Instagram will know why, but I don't want to go on about it just yet, because I'm still upset about it to be honest. Anyway's todays post is a little bit later than I wanted it to be but its better late than never right? Its all the things I would love to get this month, and fingers crossed I will get one or two of these items since it isn't too long till my birthday.

I first got ideas from my wish list from the Loccitane website at the gifts for her because I seen their shop in central Glasgow and I just love the bottles their products are in, they are so retro looking and look gorgeous for displaying too! Other products in my wish list are things I have wanted for a while and also to add to my retro wardrobe too.

My Wish List for July
Loccitane Roses et Reines Body Care Duo ( RRP £39)
Does anyone on my lovely readers just want to buy something sometimes that have amazing packaging? Well that is the case for these, the bottles on these look amazing and I am sure the product inside is amazing too since its one of my favourite fragrances rose. This duo includes a shower gel and a body lotion too, so its perfect for using in the shower and also for using after too.

The fragrance for this is delicate and floral as you can imagine with blending grasse, Bulgarian, Moroccan and Turkish Rose essence.

Yankee Candle Cherry Blossom ( Large Jar RRP £23.99)
I usually love the smell of spicy and fresh yankee candles during the autumn and winter but once its spring and summer I am a big fan of floral scents. I have tried a few floral yankee candles such as madagascan orchid and french lavender but I wanted a more fresh and floral scent this time to see if I will like it, which I should because I just love all floral scents usually.

Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation ( RRP £29)
I just LOVE my urban decay all nighter makeup setting spray as it helps keep my foundation in place all day and it works wonderfully well at keeping my foundation on even in hot weather, yes its actually a miracle product I think! Because I love the setting spray so much I would love to see if the foundation is just as amazing, fingers crossed it is.

Collectif Fancy Flamingo Basket Bags ( on sale £28.35)
I have always loved the products in Collectif because they offer so many retro products from clothes, shoes and of course bags. I have loved Flamingos since I was a child and as you can tell by my blog name too haha! I only have one bag at the moment so fingers crossed this will be added to my collection in the near future.

Morphe 35F 35 Color Fall Into Frost Palette ( RRP £22)
I have a lot of positive things about Morphe eyeshadow palettes for a couple of years now but I still haven't had the chance to try them out yet. This palette is a warm toned matte palette with lots of shimmer to it, its perfect for me with my pinup style makeup.

Winter Inspired Bedding Wish List

winter inspired bedding wish list

Hi Lovelies
In the summer I really don't care to have a duvet on because its usually far to hot and clamy with it on so I usually just wear a blanket and cuddle up with my partner. As soon as Autumn/winter comes the weather changes which feels like happens over night, then its time to bring out the duvets again! In the autumn/winter  I like to bring out more season duvets such as neutral or autumn/winter shades such as red, grey and green. I also love Christmas themed bedding during the winter months because it is so festive and warming to have that in the colder months.

Not only do I like having winter duvets I like to have the matching bedding such as the sheets, pillow cases and also cushions. With them all matching I feel it makes a house more of a home and so much more cosier, I know it might sound daft but thats what it feels like to me.

What bedding I would like
Ted Baker Cotlin Duvet Cover  between £95-£115 I know this may seem a little bit on the expensive side but I just love the way Ted Baker products  look. They look very well made and very soft too since its made out of 50% cotton and 50% linen. I love the pastel pink shade of this and it would match my pink bedroom perfectly. This comes in sizes of double to super king.

Julian Charles Kennedy Charcoal Grey Luxury Check Duvet Cover £28-£48  Now I just love anything in a check pattern, the design is simple yet classical, it would suit any home and would love gorgeous any season. This gorgeous bedding is in the Julian Charles bedding sale and is a bargain now with 60% off. The bedding comes with lots of matching products including curtains and comes in the sizes of single to super king.

Marks and Spencer's Batik Print Bedding £39.50-£69 I just love Marks and Spencer's bedding products and have bought from them for years because I find the quality of the clothes and homeware to be a very high standard. I just love the design of this and I feel it has a Christmas vibe to it too. Another great thing about this I love is its made out of 100% sustainable cotton and comes in sizes of single to super king.

Dunelm Dorma Lomond Red Duvet Cover £29-£59 I just love checked and tartan bedding and to me its just the cherry on the ice-cream of winter bedding. The combination of bright red and dark green is the perfect mixture for the festive season. This bedding is made out of cotton and comes in sizes of single to super king.

What bedding do you like in the winter months?
